Arrival: Your tent will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival but you are welcome to arrive earlier and wander around the site or chill out in the Mill Café Bar.
Generally it is easier to settle in to the safari tents during daylight hours as it is very dark once the sun has gone down. Please try to plan your arrival time to be before 7pm. However, we know how journeys can take much longer than planned so if you are held up en route please contact us so that we can light your wood burning stove for you and are ready to welcome you when you arrive.

Departure: Guests are requested to vacate the accommodation by 10am on your check-out date although you are welcome to stay on site and make use of the play field and café area if you do not want to leave Felin Geri until later in the day. For those guests who are unable to stay for the last night of their stay, you are welcome to stay on site and have use of your accommodation until whatever time you wish to depart on that day.

Please take care when getting into and out of the Hot Tub as the decking is slippery when wet.
Do not use the Hot Tub during a storm.

Dogs: Felin Geri is a dog friendly location and can be a wonderful place to share with your family pet. The tents are spacious but both for your comfort and for the comfort of other guests we generally only allow a maximum of 2 dogs per tent and in the Millers Cottage.
When considering whether or not to bring your dog/s please ask yourself the following:
Does my dog cope with all the different smells and sounds in the country or will he/she be unnerved and bark at the slightest unusual sound?
How does my dog cope with meeting other strange dogs or people, especially children?
If the answer to both questions is no problem, then we are happy to welcome your dog/s to Felin Geri.
If you want to bring your dog this must be advised at the time of booking and you should also make known the breed/type and size of dog. Please talk to us at any time if you have any queries.

We do have a few rules for the Dogs while they are here:

They must not go on soft furnishings or beds at any time. They are dogs and with the best will in the world will make a mess especially if they have been for a swim in the river or rolled in something rural!
We have hose down facilities so under no circumstances try and use the shower to clean him or her off.
Your dogs should be well socialised and well behaved as they are likely to meet other dogs as well as people on the site. It is important that they do not intimidate staff or guests as not everyone is a dog lover.
For their comfort your dogs need their own blankets and bowls but we provide a washable plastic dog bed.
In no circumstances should your dogs be left alone or unsupervised, in the tent/cottage or in your car.
Dog owners must clean up after their dogs if they defecate anywhere on the site. Bins are provided on site. Failure to do this will be heavily surcharged.
If any extra cleaning is required there will be a charge.
Day Visitors:
Day visitors are welcome to Felin Geri but please inform us to ensure parking is available for them if required. We ask that they make themselves known to us and sign the visitors’ book on arrival and leave contact details in case we need to know who is on site in an emergency.
We request that day visitors leave the site by midnight and that after 10.30pm they stay in the café bar area to avoid potential disruption to other guests.

Caring for the Environment:
Noise: Felin Geri is a peaceful, rural environment and we ask that guests respect this. For everyone’s benefit we ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm and before 8am.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted at any time in the Safari Tents, on the tent decking area, in the Millers Cottage or in the Mill Café Bar or Pantry.
Litter: Please dispose of litter appropriately in the bins available. Felin Geri tries to recycle as much as possible.
Fire Hazards: Candles must not be lit inside the tents. Please ensure that lit candles on the decking or fires (stove or BBQ) are never left unattended.

Caring for your Safety: We want you to be free to roam the site and every reasonable effort has been made to indicate possible safety hazards in the property description. However, it is your responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds and note any possible hazards. Check the layout of the accommodation so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily.
Please read and respect any warning, hazard and restriction notices that Felin Geri have placed both inside your accommodation and around the site in general. The manual in your tent gives guidance for using the heating and cooking equipment and if unsure of anything please ask a member of staff. The guidance and notes have all been placed there for your safety.
Please remember that, while a holiday in one of our safari tents provides you with a level of luxury not seen on an ordinary camp site, it is still camping and the location of our tents means that you will be close to nature that can be unpredictable and requires your respect.

If you feel that the complaint remains unresolved then you must notify Felin Geri (Dive Team Ltd) in writing or by email, within 7 days of returning from your holiday.
Please help us to help you by following this procedure which is designed to effect expedient investigation and rectification of complaints so that your time with us is disturbed as little as possible. We cannot subsequently consider any complaints or enter into any correspondence about them unless this procedure has been followed.
